I have friends who work at Facebook, YouTube, and Apple. I can name them and nothing happened. Why be so coy about it?

No specific answer to your Q, but I have a relative who could have retiree in his 40s - mostly through his investments. He’s still at it in early 50s but says he’ll quit the company if it discontinues the COVID work from home directive. He in Silicon Valley. Even with high income though, housing in the area is horrendous so you have to factor that in although rentals are dipping in the area for now.
