NO. DC is not issuing permits/allowing play due to the coronavirus. This, even though DC COVID numbers are better than MD and VA.

My sons play on a VA team in EDP that is heavily MD teams.

DC is still not issuing permits for sports teams, including soccer. I find this ridiculous/frustrating given that VA and MD are pretty much back to full play - and yet DC COVID numbers are better. What are other DC soccer teams/players doing about this? We have had some informal/small group training . . . but are supposed to start playing in EDP in mid September. All games will have to be away (no field permits in DC)!. ARGH!
