If it seems hard, just keep going. That means you’re almost there.

You are doing great! Keep at it. We potty trained at that age as well, but it took a long time for DS to self-initiate. He is almost 4 now and I still remind him occasionally to go to the bathroom.

Difficult now but going away from home was a big roadblock for ours.

You did the hard part. Congratulations! Just keep going no matter what and be proud of yourselves and your child.

1 and 3 aren’t going to get practiced or tested until covid is over.

He’s so young but we’re working on 2.

Yep, you have more than halfway there. Congrats! The first week is stressful for the adults!!

All kids are different. One of my kids had a big regression and had a bunch of poop accidents before getting it. My other two kids did fine after 3 days of no clothes- almost no accidents after that.

We started Oh Crap on Monday with our 22 month old boy. Yesterday, we had all self-initiated potty trips, a big poop on the potty and no accidents even in the stroller. We’re still doing bum-naked at home and commando under very loose shorts for outside play and stroller.

So far today, we’re accident free and he’s responding (albeit in his own time) to the prompt to pee before we leave the house and before meals.

Now what? Will he have a regression? Did we hit the halfway point?
