DS wears a half size smaller in his Nike boots than he wears in street shoes. I hate doing it but if we’re not sure we order multiple sizes on a credit card and return the wrong size right away.

Honestly I think cleats are really wonky. I'd buy a bunch of sizes and return what doesn't work.

That is a general rule. You may find an exception, however I don’t recall seeing any.

Thats going to be too small. Even regular shoes are only about 1.5 sizes different between men and women... not 2.

For Nike, when converting to women's its generally best practice to order only a size down.

example: 7.5 in women's is 6.5 men's in Nike. size 9 in women's would be a size 8 in men's in Nike.

Online they usually offer half sizes as well. Soccer.com has a pretty easy return/exchange process and free shipping on cleats as well.

depends on brand, go to a store and try them on (different brands may fit differently). buy them there or order online
