We've had the top level Model 3 for about a year now, and just traded the X for the new Model Y. We loved the X, but honestly I hated the falcon doors. They were more of a nuisance than anything. We have a charger in our garage and like a PP said, there are so many super chargers now, and the newer models charge really fast so road trips are very easy. I will admit that when we first got our X, it took about an hour to an hour and a half to fully charge at a super charger which added a lot of time to road trips. But now it takes about 15 - 20 minutes, so it's really no different than having to stop for gas.
Teslas are VERY low maintenance and a dream to drive. The interiors of the 3 and the Y are sleek and clean, and the seats are so comfortable.
And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder - I personally think they are beautiful.

They take the money they save on taxes from up north and buy a new and fancy car and live house and car poor. And they ride down these country roads out in Waxhaw going 80 mph. Its so stupid.

Lol. I agree. If I want a space ship, I would go to NASA and get one. But the inside is sweet!!
