We have a charger in our garage and like a PP said, there are so many super chargers now, and the newer models charge really fast so road trips are very easy. I will admit that when we first got our X, it took about an hour to an hour and a half to fully charge at a super charger which added a lot of time to road trips. But now it takes about 15 - 20 minutes, so it's really no different than having to stop for gas.

Teslas are VERY low maintenance and a dream to drive. The interiors of the 3 and the Y are sleek and clean, and the seats are so comfortable.

And beauty is in the eyes of the beholder - I personally think they are beautiful.

For a full charge? I thought to fully charge the Y at a Supercharger its 60 minutes. Or are you saying 15-20 minutes because you're never really close to empty/low -- i.e. you usually stop at Superchargers when you're 1/2 full or so to top off?

We’ve had our Model X for four years and still absolutely love it. We’re planning to get a Model 3 sometime this year, when our elderly second car finally kicks the bucket (farewell, sweet Prius).

I think they’re gorgeous, too. They’re also incredibly safe and SO fun to drive.

We’re going on 4 years with our Model S and love it. No major repairs. Even the knowing of getting a Model Y or X when the lease is up on our gas car.

I live in DC, am originally from NC, and I totally believe this! So funny.

It's interesting to read the responses re: repairs and care. Keep em coming, Tesla owners.

Lol. I agree. If I want a space ship, I would go to NASA and get one. But the inside is sweet!!

If NASA has a rocket like that, sign me up!

Personally I think Teslas are gorgeous but either way, you don't see it from the driver's seat, and once you get in the driver's seat you'll be hooked.

Coming up on 1 year with my LR M3, and I've loved every minute of it.

No problems whatsoever, no repairs needed. Charging is a breeze, I've got a home L2 charger powered by solar, so I wake up to a full "tank" every day for free. I've taken it on several long trips to Pittsburgh, Vermont and Boston and superchargers are abundant and well located.

I wouldn't trade it for any other car except maybe the Performance version.

M3 LR for a year and a half. Still love it. Only problem I had was a slow leak from a nail in a tire...the Tesla mobile service was out my house in less than an hour and fixed it.
Charging is fantastic...superchargers everywhere now.

Tell me your thoughts on the Tesla now. How long are repairs taking now? Any problems? Reliable? How is charging? Frequent stations? Still love it?
