I stopped at the beginning then started back over the summer.

I’ve stopped again since October. The numbers were lower in summer so I was more comfortable then, not comfortable with the current numbers.

I'm a LMT and been wondering about how to move forward with clients. FWIIW I got the vaccination but not sure about taking clients even with very good precautions. I really miss working.

It’s definitely a risk, but if I had chronic pain and knew this would help, I might do it.

I got a massage a few weeks ago. Temperature checks, hand washing, and masks. Booked an appointment in the morning at a small spa. I felt comfortable and will probably book again soon.

I have a friend that's a massage therapist. She's been working pretty consistently throughout covid quarantines and such and has yet to get sick or make any of her clients sick.

I haven't gone yet but made an appointment for next week. Prior to the pandemic, I went 1-2 times per month. I am going to a small place, only 2-3 therapists and no other staff working at any one time. I will wear a mask and so will the massage therapist. Numbers are very low in my state right now. I hope this is a good idea!

I would probably be comfortable getting a massage if face down the entire time and the therapist is masked. Maybe the door open also, depending on the place

I deal with chronic neck/shoulder pain (25+ years) and have tried all manner of treatments, including surgery. Pre-COVID, I was finding relief with bi-weekly massages (at a reasonable price!). Therapeutic in the true sense of the word. Since mid-March, I have not gone for a massage. But, oh, do I need one.

I haven't seen much/any discussion here or elsewhere on the safety of massage therapy right now. Has anyone looked into this/gone for a massage?
