My kids used the texture of the Aden + Anais ones to soothe themselves. Despite the muslin fabric we rarely had problems with them breaking. I also didn't completely panic when they went over the kids' faces (which they can do). One of my kids intentionally pulled hers over her face to sleep.

We switched both our kids to zipadee zips and they’re still in them at 2.5 years and 6 months old

I have bought a couple of brands on Amazon. The Halo ones have always been a good bet for us. The other brands (like Tillyou) were fine too. For toddlers I really like the SwaddleMe First Steps Sleeper (it's not a swaddle).
