How solid the line is doesn't necessarily reflect how pregnant you are. Sometimes very pregnant people get light lines, rather than darker ones. Sometimes, though, that faint line is the evaporation line and not a positive. However, if you have faint color, my guess is that was implantation bleeding and you are pregnant.

So period is due this Thursday? Very normal for it to be faint right now, so yeah will likely get darker over the next few days or if not chemical pregnancy (that happened to me two months ago!) but the bleeding you had the past couple days was like implantation bleeding. (Unless you meant period was due last Thursday)

No no. My apologies for not being clear. It was due LAST Thursday. I have been spotting since Friday evening. But no real period. I tested today morning and got a faint positive.

I'd wait a few days and test again. My one test that was SUPER faint never darkened and in fact became invisible over the course of a few days. 2 days later, I was having a period. It was a chemical pregnancy.

For now, you are pregnant. If the bleeding gets worse, or you are cramping or otherwise have a normal period, then you may not be anymore.

But this is very much a time will tell scenario.

It's the same thing. A line, however faint = yes.

My line didn't darken that much and is playing in the front yard right now FYI.

You could be pregnant or it could be a chemical pregnancy. Just wait a few days and test again. If line is even fainter then it’s a chemical.

Yes, I'd say that's a positive. Congrats!

It means you're pregnant now. It could be faint because you conceived/implanted later in your ovulation window, or it could be because it's not taking. But you're pregnant now.

This is our first month trying. My period was supposed to come Thursday. I saw blood when I wiped Friday evening and I’ve basically been spotting till today. My periods tend to be heavy so I found this to be a little strange. I just took a pregnancy test and I saw a faint positive line. I’m unclear as to what this means. I did have a faint positive line when testing with my first pregnancy but that’s because I tested before my expected missed period. If I was actually pregnant, wouldn’t the like be darker by now?
