I have two girls and emotionally they are high maintenance! They were fine as babies, but babies grow up and now that I have a tween and teen I’m glad there are only two of them!

Plus way more money for them and us. But really just #1!

Mostly $$. Also logistics...easier when you can have one parent with each child, easier to fit into a normal size vehicle, house, hotel room, restaurant table/booth, etc. Obviously more time and attention can be spent on each child which is especially important if a child/ren has medical issues or behavioral challenges or special needs.

I'm 44 y/o and I have two very active boys - I get 25k steps every weekend day. If I would get pregnant with twin boys I'd probably die of exhaustion.

It's what we can afford and three is a crowd (I was the third child).

- I'm already 38
- I have two boys that are super active
- I dream of actually going on some real trips someday
- Our house is the perfect size for 4
- I want a vacation house someday
- We have two dogs
- I'm exhausted
- Don't know if my body could take another pregnancy and recovery

Money, one always has a parent and you’re not out numbered, groups of 4 are easy to accommodate, I feel content with my family, my husband and I are both happy and not stressed, we can afford fun vacations, camps, schools etc

My husband doesn't want more, we can't afford a bigger house, it's going to be nice to actually use my vacation instead of saving it for maternity leave. (No...wait...my job now has paid parental leave, it just passed while i was busy using up my PTO for baby #2, so i could theoretically have a third AND a vacation someday. But again, husband is done, and the no wins on this one.)
