I use Costco wipes but I always moisten them with some warm water so they cleanse more thoroughly.

Use desitin original after every diaper change.

Rinsing rather than rubbing also can help. I remember my MIL gave my son bad diaper rash by over wiping. She was so concerned about getting him super clean, even for just pee diapers.

When DS had a case of horrible diaper rash, we rinsed his bottom after each poop and applied lots of Bordeaux diaper rash cream. My mother suggested finding the bottom and it truly helped.

He's right about the water. Plain water will work best. You might not have to do it every time. To start with, you can try wetting dry wipes (so it's disposable) every time you change a pee, and save the regular wipes for poo. See if that helps before having to do both with just water.

We tried all the sensitive and natural wipes but what worked Best for us was Lansinoh.

Yep, just a soft wash clothe and warm water. ALL disposable wipes have to have additives.

And make sure your baby’s bum gets lots of air. She needs to be completely dry.

I did finds Pampers sensitive wipes helped with diaper rash, as did cloth wipes and plain water.

Also, give her naked time. I would put down a disposable changing pad over a towel to so this.

I also found the best diaper rash cream for my kid is the Weleda. I think every kid is a little different.

I am wondering if there are difference in wipes that help improve diaper rash.

My 2 month old has a mild case of diaper rash; we change diapers frequently and use Desitin liberally (I have also used A+D Ointment and Butt Paste which were similarly effective). The rash is not out of control -- baby doesnt seem to be in pain -- but the area is red and of course I would like to eliminate it.

We have a been using a huge 900 count box of Costco wipes (bc so affordable) and a smaller pack of Pampers wipes that came with a baby gift. We will need to buy more wipes soon and I am wondering if there are certain wipes that are better or worse for diaper rash? DH's Father (a retired MD) suggested switching to a washcloth + water but that seems like a lot of work for 10+ diapers per day.
