It's fine. Kids aren't climbing Haleakala. They're riding for 10 to 20 minutes.

My eight years old does scenic rides with his friends using the video chat function, they get to explore new places and love it!

Mine gets on the tread and also does some of the other classes. She likes bodyweight strength, yoga, dance cardio, HIIT cardio (sometimes - LOL!) and stretching. Some of the instructors curse alot (which I enjoy) but you're safe with Andy, Chase, Olivia, Matt, Selena, Becs, Emma, Hannah, Adrian, and all of the yoga instructors. The family content with Jess is also clean and she's my favorite instructor.

You could just have them try the family App classes sans bike.

I was thinking about getting Fight Camp - one of the packages comes with kid gloves and I think it looks fun for kids as well as adults - but I wouldn’t buy it just for them and I don’t know if I’d use it enough. Anyone got it?

My 7 and 9 year olds both ride it sometimes - not that often but they both like it. I have very small feet so they both wear my shoes which are pretty much the right size for my 9 yo and a bit too big but basically fine for my 7 yo. They prefer scenic rides but liked Emma’s Disney rides and Christine’s classical music ride, as well as a few others

Also recommend you check out Joe Wicks videos, I do them with my boys and they are challenging and engaging.

My tall 5 (almost 6) loves riding it standing up. He will do a 10 min scenic ride at 0 resistance. 3 yr old is irate he can’t do it as well.

I wouldn't recommend the bike for a child that young. There are alot of classes though on the app, some geared at kids. You don't need the bike for those. The family classes would definitely work for a 9 year old.

I think too young unless abnormally tall & it doesn’t sound like it. Why not outdoor until the weather turns cold?

Looking for indoor exercise for DD as we head into fall. Do any of your kids ride the Peloton? I’m on a Facebook group where people say their little kids are riding. Mine is 9 but not at the recommended riding height.
