Subject: Re:Has anyone had multiple children over age 40?
I had my first at 42 and am three weeks away from delivering my second at 45 (pregnant at 44 if that matters)
I definitely went on a health kick before I became pregnant with number 2 and my RE called my numbers "abnormal"; I was using a frozen embryo from when I was 41 so I didn't have to do IVF again.
This pregnancy has mirrored almost to a T my pregnancy three years earlier - including nausea, cravings and weight gain.
I am still running at almost 37 weeks so that helps.
Get yourself in great shape - whatever that means for you.
Remind yourself that you need to be healthy at 80 if you are going to have a kid in your 40s and prioritize your health when you can (meaning you don't have to be perfect)

We had our first at 42 and second at 44 after many years of infertility. Both via donor egg.

I birthed my first at 41 and then adopted siblings at 44. I had money in the bank, a paid off house and car, and solid retirement fund. It's the best time to have kids! No worries, just fun. I am a teacher and love having summers and holidays with my kids.

My first was born one month shy of me turning 40 and second a month shy of me turning 42 (yes, they have the same birthday!). I got pregnant with youngest while still nursing my oldest. Both healthy babies and good pregnancies.
My best friends adopted at 50 and 42/52 and 44 are the best parents I know.

I had two in my early 40s. Uneventful pregnancies and births. They’re elementary school aged now.

Not me, but I have a friend who had one at 41, second at 43, and twins at 44. So 4 under 4 in 3 years all over 40. 2 miscarriages. Why this question?

I had my only at 45, but my cousin had her twins at 43. Try to arrange for as much help as possible.

Sister had twins at 45, first birth. She did IVF (not local - they live in Brentwood TN). It took effort but it can happen. Good luck.

I also did acupuncture and I read it starts with the egg and followed what made sense to in that.

Almost exactly me too, except #1 was when I was 38.

I had two. One at 41, another at 44. Got pregnant unintentionally again at 46, but it didn’t last.
Take vitamin D and other supplements. Do your research. Acupuncture did a lot for me, and I was an admitted skeptic.

I adopted multiple children over the age of 40. Can't say what it's like to be pregnant or give birth, but there are a lot of positive things about being an older mom. Maturity and financial security are two positives. Plus, my relationship was almost a decade and a half old so we were really set in a good rhythm together and kids didn't rock that.
Good luck and enjoy your babies. Congratulations.
