Either it wasn’t rosella or you weren’t totally isolating. Roseola is spread by person to person contact.

We’ve been completely socially isolating and my DC got a fever. Pediatrician got him in immediately and tested with a nose swab panel including for covid. All negative so it was most likely roseola. Tests came back in 28 hours and was a huge relief.
Also then we could give Motrin which works far better in reducing kid’s fevers then Tylenol.
