Not true. Look it up. DH or I could have shed the virus after being immune for decades. It’s a heroes virus.

Probably an ear infection if you really have been totally isolating (no “socially distanced” play dates, no dr or dentist visits, etc).
Call the pediatrician before just taking to ER unless it takes a turn for the worse.

I don't know about this. Covid can be very infectious but some people spread it a lot and some people barely spread it.

My family got some kind of bug two weeks ago. I was tested, not Covid. There are other things going around still, and you can pick them up, even if you’re taking precautions. The fact your toddler is sick but you are not makes it likely to be something other than Covid.

My 18 month old woke up with a fever. Got tested for covid and everything else and negative. Broke out in a rash four days in. Roseola.

My kid had a 102.5 fever for 4 days. She had a throat infection and a UTI at the same time, possibly from bay water ( Sandy Point)

We’ve been completely socially isolating and my DC got a fever. Pediatrician got him in immediately and tested with a nose swab panel including for covid. All negative so it was most likely roseola. Tests came back in 28 hours and was a huge relief.
Also then we could give Motrin which works far better in reducing kid’s fevers then Tylenol.

Keep on keeping the fever down with Tylenol and/or cold wash cloths to the forehead. Call his pediatrician and they will tell you what to do next.
If you are unable to keep the fever down, then that’s when you should go to the hospital.

We have been taking COVID very seriously. Staying home beside small walks in the neighborhood. We all wear mask beside my 2 y o.
Today he woke up with a fever of 101. He rarely get fever so I was hoping it will get better on its own. We gave him tylenol, he woke up from his nap with a 103.5 fever. He looks tired but is alert.. I have no idea where he could have gotten anything since we are all home and no one else is sick. What should we do? wait or take him to ER? Anyone's child had fever recently and it wasn't COVID?
