Village Grigio

OP here. Thanks for the links - although my SO wasn’t sold. I’m thinking we worry less I’m on the house style and more with the table.

Thinking we try the Brera first since there we can pick it up and see how it looks.

OP here - thanks all. The Windsor look nice but we were hoping for a navy/indigo color to help add a bit of color to our kitchen.

We have the grigio chairs with the same dining room table, only in walnut. We use the chairs with the sort of linen-looking seat cushions to make them more comfortable. Our table is mostly covered with a tablecloth because kids. The chairs are fine and have lasted several years. I know they don't really match with the table, I purchased them mostly for the high backs as one family member has back issues and needs extra back support but I would actually prefer lower seat backs visually for that table. Because they are not upholstered, they are not super comfortable for long sitting but are otherwise solid, easy to take care of and we have gotten used to them. If i could do it over, I'd go with something more like the windsor chairs another poster linked but they were not available at that time and I also didn't want anything upholstered or more fancy because of the kids.

Don't love either but the grigio's look uncomfortable so I'd skip those. I like the windsor chairs posted by PP, they warms up what is otherwise a pretty sterile looking table.

No strong preference on one of those chairs. Perhaps leaning slightly for the Grigio since they are a bit taller and they wouldn’t get “hidden” by the table?

The styles are pretty different. Do you like one better?

Personally the village chairs aren't really doing anything for me. But the other ones don't really say "farmhouse" to me (although that's kind of a tough word to define). Neither does the table though (but I like it).

Or the faux Thonet chairs.

I'm assuming you don't want fabric or leather? Because that would be another way to balance the rather cold table. Leather is easy care ime.
