Unless your kid is NMF don’t expect the cost of a Fordham to be under $40k/yr. And that would be a best-case scenario (a lot of merit aid).

Are you sure? DS received a ton of merit aid from Fordham and we did not feel out the FAFSA

Not a lot of schools require for merit aid. In fact, very few require it.

DD was interested but Fordham REQUIRED that we complete the FAFSA (what we the financial aid form is) to review her application. We declined, she moved on.

I have a sophomore in HS who goes to a Catholic school. He is thinking about colleges now and one of the schools that he is interested in is Fordham. He wants a Jesuit school that is near a big city. Fordham fits the bill. Anyone have a kid who went there? Pros/cons? From searching this board, it seems that the area around the campus is sketchy. He doesn’t have the stats for Georgetown or BC. Any other ideas? Thanks.
