We did a year of KiwiCo box subscription for our 2yo DS and he's liked it so far, and it's nice to have a new thing every month that's a learning opportunity - the first month was a little doctors kit and he loved it and now he pretend plays doctor a lot so I think it was worth it

With older siblings, he is bound to be getting lots of hand me downs. I would get him something that is his alone, and something his siblings won’t automatically take over as theirs. Personalization or monogramming is the way to go to literally have his name on it.

Love the idea of one of those personalized beanbags or anywhere chairs. You could also have his name put on a backpack or lunchbox if he wants to be like older siblings, on a big beach towel or beach bag to bring to the pool or after playing in the sprinkler, or on a toy bin.

Otherwise, go practical: my toddler was thrilled to get a rain jacket, rain boots, and a tiny umbrella. You could do similar with winter gear. Replenishing heavily used things like crayons, paint, craft supplies, sticker books are also an easy spin.

We go with practical stuff - sunglasses, underwear, personalized sippy cup/plate set/placemat, bean bag chair for his room - type thing.

Also, my kids like quantity so small things like Water Wow booklets, sticker books, mess-free coloring books, -type things And we keep those things in the car so they're more interesting.

My kid just turned two. Only grandkid and a big family, so PILES of toys were mailed to us. The biggest hit on birthday party day? About $15 worth of helium balloons from Party City. Kid could have cared less about anything else- except for the cupcakes.

He really won’t have any concept of gifts and how many he is getting, etc. Look online at preschool large motor toy catalogs. Educational supply stores might have some different things that you haven’t seen. He might like a kiddie sleeping bag to play pretend camping. At his age they want to pretend play what adults do. Always give books.

You’re overthinking it and have too much stuff as it is.

My son is turning two soon. He has 5 years old twins siblings who have lot of toys he already plays with.
I am trying to buy something we don’t have but drawing a blank. We have most toys you can imagine, puzzles, lego, play kitchen, etc.
I am sure they are some not so popular toys we don’t have (Or different type of toys/ideas we don’t know of), thoughts?
