Yes, my DH has it and always has tissues on hand, which was great when the kids were little. I can assure he is not nor never was a cokehead. He’s never smoked pot, a cigarette and had barely drank before I met him!
The only downside is the constant tissue use and that my kids seem to have inherited the condition.

Why did you post this in the relationship forum? It makes it seem like his runny nose is z relationship issue.

You might get more relevant responses if you post this on the health forum and label the thread “rhinitis.”

A co-worker of mine had this -- turned out he was "addicted" to nasal spray. (He always had a bottle of it in his shirt pocket).

Once he kicked that habit, his sniffling subsided.

It’s an honest question. Why are people so mean on this board?

I remember back when I was in elementary school there was this girl who always had a runny nose. I later found out that she also had an operation in her nose. I have no idea how that impacts on her life as I've never been close to someone in that situation.

Not sure why some people are making unnecessary comments. Just answer her question or move on.

It is a real condition, not seasonal. He has it all year round and had an operation.

I've been speaking to this guy for a while. We get along really well and he ticks all the boxes. He recently disclosed to me that he's suffering from rhinitis and had an operation a couple of years ago. To add to that, he's always got tissues in his pockets and wiping his nose with it.

I'm very empathetic of his situation, at the same time I want to be tactful. I'm afraid of asking questions and it could be taken the wrong way. I don't want to enquire much about his condition at the moment. With time, I hope to gain a better understanding.

I'd like to know if anyone here is suffering from rhinitis or their spouse? Is your/their sense of smell reduced or affected? In what ways would you/they need to accomodate to their/your needs?

I would prefer to gain an insight from those who have dealt with this issue personally.
