Yes. Putting it on par with the girls side, where it’s always been on that level.

He's referring just to the boys, and how the DA change elevated ECNL. Previously the EDP national league was the stronger of the two, which seems to contradict the OP.

The top brackets in EDP, which last year were Premier I and Club v Club, would send the top team to the USYS NL. I don't see a Club v Club this year so I imagine that the top team in the South Atlantic (DE, MD, DC, VA, WV) will go to next years USYS NL.
I would agree with an earlier poster -- The league was greatly diluted on the girls side when DA folded. Instead of DA teams joining EDP, they formed the GA and pulled good clubs from EDP (Baltimore Celtic/Union and DESC.Sporting). ECNL pulled Pipeline.

Good question. Anyone on here willing to share what they know about EDP? My DC has moved to a new club that plays in EDP and I don’t know much about the divisions.

Can someone explain what the USYS divisions are in EDP? Are there certain criteria to gain entry into those divisions? I may have more questions but I guess we'll start there. Thanks in advance.
