Agree with this. They only care about whether you’re getting appropriate preventative care (paps, prenatal, etc) and if you’re in an abusive relationship. If yes to the first and no to the second, they don’t care about your sexual or reproductive choices.

For that matter, this also describes my experiences with one of the area's hospital-based midwife practices.
OP, I'd say nearly all practices in this area fit.

And, FWIW: my experience has been that male doctors are more compassionate and less judgmental than female OBs. Perhaps it’s because most female OBs have personally BTDT and use their own experience to judge you?

Pushing 50 with 4 births plus 2 miscarriages and a variety of weird gyn issues over the years, so I’ve seen a ton of doctors in the dc metro area

Yes, more specificity please. It seems like there's something you're not saying. So far your list is:

- general
- tech focused (what does that mean in the context of an OBGYN practice?)
- pro choice attitude
- no judgement attitude towards women who "choose to live and express their femininity in non-traditional ways" (can you give some examples of these non-traditional ways?)

Has anyone here stumbled across an OB/GYN practice in the D.C. area that they’d like to recommend? I am looking for a practice that has a pro-choice, no judgment attitude towards women who choose to live and express their femininity in non-traditional ways?
