Yes, they do. It's the Cosco High Back Booster. Has 5 point harness and can be removed to use car seatbelt (my 5yo is in the harness). Cover removes easily to wash and it's light and easy to install-fits well in most cars.

We don’t want just a high backed booster - we want the 5 point harness still, but would like a seat with the option to remove the 5 point and use the regular seat belt in the future. Basically we don’t want to have to buy another seat in a year or so.

I’m not sure what this kind of seat is called so I’m having trouble researching.

Can you recommend yours? TIA!

Same age kid, same size kid, same younger sibling.

We got the Chicco MyFit. It’s great. Comfortable for the kid. Easy to install. Not super heavy. Five point harness, which converts into a high-backed booster as the kid grows.

(We found all the Clicktight seats annoying. They’re heavy and our kids weren’t comfortable in them, and it’s easy to install other seats. This Chicco is a snap.)

Thanks all. I think we’re leaning toward Britax. That’s what we have now and will pass on to the baby; we’ll do the same with the convertible/ booster so we’ll get our moneys worth.

How is it to clean? Kiddo doesn’t get carsick as much anymore, but it still happens....

Britax Grow with You is the replacement for the discontinued Frontier. I love the Frontier and click tight is amazing. Really great seat that lasts for a long time for tall kids. But if you have a shorter to average height kid, there are cheaper seats with lower limits (highest harness height) that would work equally well. And a booster is only $40-70, so may not be worth paying a premium for a high end seat that you'll only need for another year or two.

We have this too. It's very heavy though! So not easy to move around in the car if that matters at all.

NP. When I search Amazon for the Frontier it brings up the Britax Grown with You. Is it the same idea?

Yes, I just got this seat. The Frontier was discontinued and this replaced it.

Graco and Britain click tight are easiest to install. The Cosco seats are hardest ( altho don’t come in a booster anyway) so I would go and look at both of those brands and see what you like - The seat u want is called a combination seat or a booster with harness- car seat tech.

Graco 4Ever is another combination seat. After convertible mode it can do a high-back and a backless booster. I've also completely taken it apart to remove vomit and it wasn't the worst experience in my life.

Britax clicktight is amazing technology but the frotier only has a high-backed booster mode (I don't know if you care -- backless boosters are cheap).

It’s called a combination seat.

Look at the Chicco MyFit.

We need a new car seat for my 4.5 year old (baby is ready for the convertible seat). We don’t want just a high backed booster - we want the 5 point harness still, but would like a seat with the option to remove the 5 point and use the regular seat belt in the future. Basically we don’t want to have to buy another seat in a year or so.
