I don't have "no phone calls" as a rule and of course I'll call to make plans, confirm things, etc.

I just wouldn't naturally think to call to shoot the shit, but it is not difficult to figure out the rhythm of the relationship and do things to make the person I'm dating happy.

But it is beyond stupid to assume that if he's not calling it automatically means PP is on the backburner, especially if she hasn't communicated this to her dude.

When I was 43 I dated a 35 year old for about six months and I don’t think I ever talked to him on the phone. May be a younger generation thing.

I thought the Negative Nellie was going to come in and say he's cheating but this is close enough and as a man, I can assure you that it doesn't have to mean that at all, especially for anyone who grew up texting. Phone calls are almost always a dud. Texting or Facetime work way better, but if phone conversations are important to you, tell him and let him run with it or botch things up.

How old is he? I'm 43 and notice that my younger coworkers (maybe 32 or 33 and younger) almost never call me. And if they want to call, they ASK "Can I call you?"

People my age and older just call.

I've been dating a guy for a couple months now. It's been going great. Only issue is he never calls we only text. Is hat Normal in dating now? I'm recently divorced so haven't dated in a while.
