I care only about the size. They have to be “thin” enough not to take much space in my dishwasher. Kids just sip a little and leave a glass with unfinished water in the sink by the fridge

I have French jelly jar glasses. I think I got them from Williams Sonoma in 1995. They’re very sturdy. I have two sizes with lids.

I meant to add that I think the rings make them a little easier to hold on to, especially for little hands when they're "sweaty."

We have duralex (or at least they are knock offs?). I think I got them at World Market a few years ago. We had too many big huge glasses, and I just needed a set of smaller ones.

I use ikea glasses. I buy a bunch and store them in the basement to restock when we break one. It’s also nice to have the extra for large gatherings. The ones we have are about $1 each.

Tervis tumblers. After cleaning up glass, both tempered and regular, I had had enough.

I love the Luminarc 21oz glasses but they are probably a little big for kids and they're close to the Picardies, idk what OP doesn't like about those though.

I love La Rochere glasses - it’s a French glassware company. There are a lot of great styles to choose from and they are a nice solid / sturdy glass

sorry, not a fancy suggestion but we use Ikea glasses. they have different types, some look nicer than others. we tend to break them a lot so I buy the sturdy bar-style. the cost is really low and now Ikea has a click and pick up option where you buy online and pick up outside of the store. I used it this weekend for the first time to buy bowls and worked great.

We had another water glass break this morning, so now we are down to 4 from the original 8 we had when got married 10 years ago (not bad for 10 years, actually). I'm looking for something different (these aren't even made anymore). What do you use that is simple, stylish, but not particularly fragile (we have 4 and 6 year olds!)? Glass only, please!

Also, I know everyone loves them, but I really don't like the Duralex Picardie glasses and don't want to use Mason Jars. Thanks!
