Agree, my cars came with some roadside service but only for 3 years I think.

AAA is fast and reliable. Offers a jump start and sometimes even the battery you need. Once I used the towing.

Another one here who uses it, and actually started using it maybe three years ago. I've used them for multiple dead batteries and a flat tire immediately after an accident. I also find they have the best rates for car rentals (though I hear Costco is good for that too but I don't have a Costco membership).

Yes, and have used it for towing, tires, jump start, travel discount, theme park tickets ... I love AAA.

Same. Got it when we had au pairs and an extra car for their use. Now still using it.

Our insurer offers it. It's about $30/year/car. Is it worth it (we have 3 cars)? Our cars are all fairly new and we keep them well-maintained. Is there some easy to use service where I can just call for a tow and pay if I need it? The only peace of mind I can see with roadside assistance is you call one number, and they find the nearest tow truck and dispatch them. I don't want to be Googling local tow companies if we break down while out of town.

We've had it for years. I've found I've needed it enough to justify it. And with my kid driving his 2003 Corolla, it makes me feel better to know he has it.

I've used AAA for years, and have found it has gotten better in recent years. The battery charging service is fantastic, and usually they get someone there in less than an hour. We have had good luck with towing too.

Yes, because up until recently we had a 13 year old car that didn’t have roadside assistance and I’d already prepaid a couple years for AAA when we got a new car.

We have it and used them twice in the past year. Once when I had a dead battery (discovered when attempting to leave work at 7 pm) and again when I pulled in my driveway and couldn’t get my car to go into “park.” Both times, they arrived within an hour.

I had Allstate’s roadside assistance for a while. When I needed them, I had to pay upfront and wait 2 months for a partial reimbursement. I was younger and really broke in those days. I canceled and got AAA after that.

We still use it.

We dropped it and went with BMW roadside service. Needed it in rural Vermont and were told no BMW dealer within the tow radius.

No, we use our insurances towing.

We've had it for years, but I know that insurance companies and such offer towing now. I'm up for renewal and wondering if we should keep it.
