I do my best thinking on my runs. I think about work issues, plan vacations, ponder politics and my own existence, social issues and race relations, oh look a cute bunny, my parents health, etc...
I use one headphone for the same reason, but I also run in a very quiet area with sidewalks, etc.
Dp - just be careful with the one ear approach. I have hearing loss in the ear I used to listen to my music.![]()
