We planted a bunch like 8 years ago. They have literally never survived, but I’m not sure whether it is deer or rabbits that got them. We eventually planted something else.

A dole came to my garden every morning, and munched all the edible flowers and plants. I bought the sedum for their pink cloud of flowers for the bees, and they got eaten, buds and leaves and all. She did not even give them a chance to flower. If it is not for her two fawns, I would declare war against her.

It’s hit or miss. Some years they decimate the Autumn Joy. This year is one of the luckier ones.

Deer devour my autumn joy sedum-and most others. I do
Have two low growing sedums that they don't. I think one is lime zinger, the other-very very pretty red modt of the year was given to me w/o a label. Wish I knew which as its a great plant and deer leave alone.
