You’re just thinking of yourself, which is okay. But my suggestion also includes any health compromised/elderly grandparents that wants to watch too.

We received notice from our club that there are "legal reasons" parents cannot watch scrimmages between club teams. I am assuming the legal reasons are related to covid but how is this different than sitting at a park socially distanced with a mask on?
