Kids really don't need to understand why. I guarantee my 2 year old did not understand why the school insists on pants, or shoes, but he kept them on because we didn't make it a choice.

I suspect all the parents claiming their kid "can't" wear a mask haven't actually tried to teach their kid.

Yes these policies are to help train THE PARENTS.

But also, all the kids will be expelled by lunch.

Seems extreme. I doubt it will be enforced.

It's likely just to scare parents straight.

There's alot of parents who don't want to make their kid unhappy and are lax with having their kid wear a mask. Push parents to normalize it at home.

This has to be a troll. OP hasn’t responded. There are so many rumors going around from “my friend” you can’t believe anything. OP wants to get people worked up over nothing. Like I said before, post the link or the district or I call BS.

When there's an alternative of DL, then these rules make sense. And they're probably not needed. Kids wear masks. The only people having trouble with masks are politicians.

A friend's DD is starting pre-k out of state, and said she just showed me their mask mandate. First and second instance of touching your face earns you a two day suspension, third instance is expulsion. First instance of forgetting mask or pulling it below your nose is expulsion. Even for pre-k.

This seems harsh. Has anyone else run into this?
