Yeah no worries at all

I did get a haircut but it was outside on the patio (we have a friend who lives a few blocks away who is a hairdresser). I set up a folding chair and came back out with my hair wet. We both wore masks and she had a face shield too. She left right after and I venmo'd her money. Nobody got covid (no symptoms and I had an antibody test a few weeks later that was negative).

FWIW, DW got her hair cut and dyed in a salon (also masked) and didn't get covid either.

I did the ponytail technique finally and it totally worked. Give it try, just a few inches, and if you don't like it go in for fixer upper cut.

Anyone gotten this done in the DMV and felt safe? Tbh I haven’t even looked through the window of a salon since March, but my kids hair is a stringy mess. I would cut it but it’s long and a little layered and i will botch it. Would love recommendations for places taking extra precautions.
