Well, the Carters ones used to be available "on sale" on a regular basis for about 16-18 for a 4 piece set. Now they are 33 and don't even have shorts sets available.

I don't think it has to do with the fabric itself. The cotton snug fit ones are not chemically treated.
These are made overseas and if I had to bet money, there is a supply chain disruption somewhere along the line.
This is my guess too. Just wondering if anyone knew specifically what the deal is with pajamas, as I'm not noticing dramatically different prices on other clothing items.
