Normal. And it could go on into their 20s, so get used to it!

Yes, wrestling is normal.. it's one reason only a few girls still hang out with boys at this age.

My 11 and 9 year old wrestle all the time. On trampoline, in pool, in the house - it’s pretty much their favorite activity and I don’t see it stopping any time soon. They’re good about respecting each other’s limits, stop when asked, And there’s not a lot of other good physical outlets right now so...

No but my DS had a friend who from age 8 wanted to wrestle. He had an older brother which may be why. Otherwise we haven't come across it and DS definitely doesn't wrestle with DD.

Sounds harmless. Don't rush them into adulthood, it will happen. I have a 14 year old boy, all kinds of personality changes corresponded with his voice changing and him growing three inches in the last few months. Biology is a powerful thing, it's like a switch if flipped in a lot of regards.

Wrestling is like the oldest sport. Maybe they will wrestle in HS, college, or even the Olympics. Would you expect them to outgrow playing hoops in the driveway? No difference, and fine as long as they don’t cause serious damage/pain/suffering.

Sounds healthy and normal. Just keep an eye out for injuries - now is not the time to go to the hospital.

Nope, my 13yr old barely gets off her phone. I think I’d actually prefer the wrestling.
