This. Cars are actually really risky. As is eating out. No way.
And no I would not let him stay in the house. I would refuse. I would not even let him in to use the bathroom.

I do not want him staying at our house. I don’t want DH picking him up from the airport or train station, whichever he decides.
We have 3 kids and have not had anyone in our house. I don’t want my BIL to come stay with us. I don’t care if we pay for his hotel.
