I have an infant and I am actually having the opposite worry at least in terms of continuity of care. If your nanny gets sick, or quits, I feel like it's going to be so hard to find someone else. But then I'm not feeling comfortable with daycare either.

No. I pay $1K/week at a downtown center we love for three kids for ~45 hrs care. No way we could get a decent nanny for that.
