And why the heck are they still running that "open Maryland" tourist ad? Hogan needs to act NOW to keep our numbers from climbing out of control. He's too concerned with making the Ocean City businesses happy and is going to screw up things for the rest of the state.

Hogan needs to step up and close bars and indoor dining. I find it so frustrating that he did such a good job in the beginning but now seems to be focused on promoting himself rather than taking responsibility for making changes to fix our numbers. Seems to just be passing the responsibility down tot he counties.

We are beginning to see the results of all the July 4th holiday weekend parties, gatherings, and beach vacations.

Wear masks when outside your home.

Fixed.

It really is NOT rocket science

Yup. I think Hogan should keep outside dining, as a lifeline to restaurants, but nix indoor dining and bars.

Maryland’s daily case numbers have been going up and their daily positivity rate has been above the seven day average (although probably statistically insignificant). Still the downward trend seems to have definitely paused.

I know there are people here who don't think much of Covid Exit Strategy, but it is followed by many people online whom I respect.

https://www.covidexitstrategy.org/

Maryland has consistently been in the red (even after they revised the criteria) for about the past week. Not even yellow.

A key criterion is new cases per million per day. We were at around 50 but today are at 90. When we get to 100, that's enough to put us on some state's quarantine lists!!

I am really concerned. Are we going to have to go back to Phase 1?
