Loads. We spent the morning at the park (3 adults, 5 children). Then, one family invited us to spend the afternoon in their backyard.
Yesterday, I took a friend who lives down the street to the playground with us.
Last weekend, we had a sleepover with cousins.

None. She talks to her cousins on FaceTime while they play Roblox, but she has not had any in person play dates, sports, camp, nothing. We very much relied on school and summer camp for socializing with friends.

Zero. Except with each other. 7, 4, and 2. They’ve developed some pretty elaborate games.

Sports. Watching a movie in the back yard sitting 6’ apart.

None. Absolutely none. We’re in California.

We did nothing close up (allowed bike riding and supervised / distant hide and go seek or kicking a soccer ball) from late Feb - mid June. When we did play it was typically with the same family.
We are now in a 3 family bubble. One family is choosing not to see anyone else (they have a 3 year old). The other two families - who both have an older child - are allowing occasional outdoor / masked / socially distant play dates with friends outside the bubble such as splashing in the creek, bike riding etc. Even in our bubble we stay outside and try to wear masks but the kids aren’t always perfect at it.

For starters, I suppose I consider the sports to be socialization.

In real life?
For 3 months, my kids did not play with any friends in real life. We did attend one birthday parade where we waved and talked to family for a whole one minute. One other friend had a zoom birthday party and family dropped off a birthday party favor and waved to us from the car.
Starting from late June, my older kids have started sports - soccer and tennis.
Each of my kids have had 2 play dates each with the same friend.
I’m planning to not socialize for a while. Just let kids do sports.
