For high school there is no prom, no homecoming, or any of that school spirit stuff.

We ended up moving our child to a more recognized private high school in this area and found the middle school preparation in some subjects was not up to par. If we could do it all over again, we would've moved our DC for 6th grade.

Mixed is what we found for middle school, we left for high school. The academics comes down to the individual teachers and several are excellent. However, too many are what we considered poor for even for a public school. We left for high school because we found there aren't many high school kids other than foreign students, athletes, and the occasional child of someone who works there and goes for free.

We had very mixed results, depending on the school year. We ended up leaving and it was definitely for the best. The school has a huge number of foreign kids and, by outwards appearances, seems to be struggling financially. When you can't afford to fix the HVAC, it's not a good sign. We regret not moving our child sooner as he's now much happier and getting a better academic education. When your child gets to high school, you'll basically have to move them as it's nearly empty, with a few foreign students and basketball players.

Highly recommend. My child is heading to the 1st grade. Plus, their new campus is beautiful and they are offering in person school.

We are moving to the area and considering Fairfax Christian (which recently moved to Dulles from Vienna) because it’s a large new campus and seemingly good reputation school. They are currently advertising 5 day in school Vs online only. They say that they can meet the CDC requirement social distancing etc. which is a nice to know. But I wanted to see if anyone has experience to share. Lower grades particularly.
