GA’s alignments looked to group conferences based on day trips and when day trips can’t be done they are scheduling games at neutral sites to accommodate less travel.

You don't plan an entire league by cheapening the brand of letting every ex-DA team in, especially when a vaccine will be out within the seasonal year.

Yet 8 out of 10 GA clubs were in ECNL before DA. ECNL cheapened the brand already by back filling the league with poor performing clubs like BRYC, Loudoun, adding 3 PDA teams per age group, 2 Michigan Hawks teams per age group, MLS boys side B teams for ECNL, ECNL regional league confusing the brand.

But ok.

No idea on the schedule

But For MD teams, the games are all driveable back and forth In a day. We were told the goal is no hotel stays.

The issue will be that they typically had some weekends where you play 2 clubs close by - ie a game on Saturday with one club and a game on Sunday with another club. But it’s only a few so my guess is they could stack them on one day or put to different weekends. Or reduce the schedule.

I am a team manager and do not have a schedule. This is someone just wanting to stir the pot

Maybe your team doesn’t, but ours does. We have the dates, but not the times. In Team Snap, although I do see that nothing is published on the ECNL website. We have trips to SC and NC this fall. They’re not quarantining, at least not yet. We’ll see what happens, but I am not stirring the pot. Just reporting what I know.

GA doing quite a few things the right way.

Yeah, those day trips to PA and Delaware are going to be so much fun.

where?

Some states are pushing for 14 day quarantine if traveling home from certain states. This could be an issue for some when scheudling.

In the ECNL webinar this week, the leadership said they will be creating regular conference schedules; if teams do not feel comfortable traveling or with hotel stays, they’re to let the league know as soon as possible. There won’t be any penalty for not making those games. I assume they are creating regular conference schedules because some conferences may only have a handful of teams in the same state?

I definitely don’t, but I be they’re exploring “in-state” schedules.
