Anyone else?
Should I just get a nanny?
If you want consistent, uninterrupted care - yes.
This has to be the funniest quote on all of DCUM. An nanny is far from consistent, interrupted care. They are one person and get sick with no additional nanny to substitute. They have personal issues with no substitute. They are tired with no co teacher to help so any type of programming suffers. And they get vacation and holidays. Finally they can leave you without warning with no backup. Hilarious statement.

I am just so tired and frustrated. We literally just switched our child for logistical reasons (the current one was open!) but we needed different hours and location due to tele-work. I feel cheated that they JUST took our money and then 8 hours later make this announcement. I am just so tired and now so angry at them. They don’t have the scheduling/logistical/training issues and using the “we follow FCPS” seems like an excuse.
Ugh.
