Given what we have seen and heard across clubs and teams, very few parents have exited travel soccer, at least in younger age groups, notwithstanding what you read in these pages. That might change if the numbers increase dramatically in the DMV. And I do not think people would be happy to travel for overnight tournaments until we see some or any light at the end of the tunnel. But local league play will certainly proceed if left to participants. It won't stop or slow because there is substantial parental exit, at least not based on what we see at this juncture.

Oh and saying that it seems likely that there will be anything beyond a weekly socially distanced practice is....I'm not even sure. Lots of team are already training multiple times a week full contact, full team, etc. Do you have you head your ass?
