I walk everywhere I can just because I prefer it. I see neighbors and get fresh air and exercise.

You mean now? Or, you know, Before?

I haven't owned a car in 20+ years. I walk, take the bus, take metro, use bikeshare, use cabs. I have a carshare membership and rent cars when I need them.

It's considerably cheaper than car ownership, for the amount of occasions that I would be driving myself. I will say that I'm using transit less and relying more on rental vehicles at the moment.

Positive, mostly. I can drive, and I like driving, but city driving/commuting is no fun. We live in the city, we don't own a car, I take public transportation to work (in normal circumstances). I can walk to the grocery store, drug store, dry cleaners, bakery, wine store, bookstore, restaurants, parks, hiking trails, etc. We rent a car for weekend trips, or use Zipcar for shorter errands. I get a lot more activity/exercise on a daily basis because walking is built into my life, not something I have to make extra time for.

I love being able to read or listen to a podcast during my commute, and not be stressed about traffic. We save money, because even the occasional rental is cheaper than car + gas+ maintenance + parking + insurance. My kid can easily walk several miles, because it's just what we do to get places.

I love driving and have a sporty car with manual transmission for weekend forays on winding country roads. But I hate commuting by car around here because it's wasted time. In normal times, my commute is an hour by Metro or an hour by car. A Metro commute includes daily walking exercise, casual interactions with people (important for well-being), and dedicated reading time. An hour in a car is just...an hour in the car. I don't drive while distracted (it's hard to text while shifting gears), so stop-and-go commuting is entirely non-productive and soul-crushing.

wfh most days. I can't imagine how driving to work more days would positively impact my life. Although I do have a cool car and like driving fast. I just don't like driving to WORK

Neither, I have a vision problem that prevents me from driving.

I hate driving, I hate other drivers, I hate the maintenance and upkeep of a car, I hate finding parking, and I hate having an expensive thing that I use 1-2xs/week that I have to move to the other side of the street constantly.

I walk, take mass transit or take Uber. I sold my car 16 years ago when I moved to a city. I figured I'd rent a car twice a month. But that was right when grocery stores began delivery service. In 16 years I think I've rented a car three times?

Right now in July of 2020, I think I last drove in .... 2018? My driver's license is up to date and valid. I miss having a car to cry in. And I miss driving fast with the windows down blasting music. I miss listening to the radio.

Both - got my license later in life 24 and I have anxiety about driving. I live in a major city and just walk everywhere but I can drive if I absolutely have to.

I moved to a city and live less than .20 miles to 3 grocery stores, Starbucks, parks, gyms, and work.

If I ever want to get across the city I usually take a $7 Uber.
