Teddy on a girl is a huge mistake.
What about Josephine? Georgina? Jo or Georgie much better.

What a ridiculous thing to say

Do. Not. Do. This. You might as well name her Vampira because you like the name Ira.

I love Theodora. Of course, my cousin is Teddy short for Theodora and I love her so I’m a bit biased.

This shows my children’s ages but Teddy from Good Luck Charlie was named Theodora

I have a Theodora. It’s a beautiful name. Unusual but people know how to spell and pronounce it.

I like both. Beautiful names and lovely nn.

I think Theodora sounds straight out of the 19th century and Theodosia sounds like a disease. What was the woman’s full name on Greys Anatomy who went by Teddy? Maybe that is better?

Love Theodora
Theodosia seems frilly but also has a wow factor

I think Teddy is adorable. I think Theodora is fine and Theodosia is a little over the top for me. But lots of kids could pull it off.

I also like Thea, and Dory but I really don't like Dora, so that would be my one hesitation.

Theodosia might have a small bump with the widespread release of Hamilton. I don't really like either name but I have an Edward who is exclusively Ted/Teddy so I support where you're going!

I love the idea of the nickname Teddy on a girl and really love both of these names. I can’t tell if they should be guilty pleasure or are totally usable. Are they obnoxiously frilly? Do you like one better than the other?
