A train table and trains. At this age they are starting to imitate and pretend to be adults, so things like doctor uniforms etc are good. Bathtub crayons and tub tints. Wooden blocks. One of those dolls that has zippers and snaps for them to learn with as they grow. Look at Lakeshore website for ideas. She doesn't really need too many new toys, so maybe clothes for her to grow into? At this age, they have no idea who is giving what anyway.

We got her a trike that she loves.
She also loves dress up stuff from Lakeshore. They have an adventure collection that is so cool. The clothes are a little too big but in 6 months they b will fine.

The little tykes bounce house is great! Also play tunnel. Maybe you already have the Melissa and Doug cleaning services but that’s a huge hit in our house, the kids play with it constantly. Mini basketball hoop?
Also the painting books where you use water and it turns the pages colors.

My favorite gift idea is to have the giver pick a book, and make a recording of them reading it aloud, with a tone to signal when to turn the page. That way, the child not only gets a new book, but also gets it read to them by a loved one whenever they want.

My daughters second birthday is coming up and I am starting to have family ask me for gift ideas. I normally would ask for experience type gifts, but many of those type of places are closed or I don’t feel comfortable going to- like indoor play spaces. And let’s be honest, after being home for the past 4 months it would be nice to have some new toys in the house.

We already have: play kitchen, little people play set, music toys, puzzles, table and chair set, tricycle, scooter, water table, slide, push toys, name puzzle, and sooooo many books
