Many clubs that were kicked to the curb when DA folded won't be particularly interested in joining the league run by the same people that kicked them to the curb.
If that is what drives their decisionmaking, instead of what may be in the best interest of their players, fine for the rest of us. But I also think the ship has sailed for all of the clubs that went to ECNL. They are not now going to reverse course, and I am not sure they could.
And what is exactly in the best interests of players? Joining a league that is run by people that have demonstrated willingness to kick loyal member clubs to the curb? How much fun did Arlington or VDA families had this year with uncertainty regarding the next season after DA folded?

Will any local ex-DA teams apply? Seems like an opportunity just opened up for a few clubs....
