If I had to stop - and it was open - I might find a hotel in New London CT and do a tour of the submarine there.

I just can't imagine places being open - you know we are in the middle of a pandemic - right?

You may not be allowed in

There’s no enforcement aside from some documents that hotel managers may need you to sign. Perhaps *some* managers will confront people who are supposed to quarantine and are clearly not. But it might not be that fun a vacation if every day you do something that is not technically allowed. Or maybe you don’t care...

Don’t forget about Maine’s quarantine or test requirement.

Somewhere exciting preferably? What is Maine’s requirement? I didn’t know about that...was thinking it was a good place to go because they have less covid numbers than in the South!

I don't know if exciting is going to be happening anywhere between NY and MA this summer. I'm in Providence. I think we move into phase 3 today, but there is not a lot going on. It seems like many of the really good restaurants and interesting attractions are choosing to stay closed. For any place that was a hotspot in March and April, I think you are going to find that people are scared and acting accordingly. So maybe NH, they tend to go rogue or MA because they've had few cases.

Sorry, I meant Maine may be more open, although my parents live in an area that usually gets a lot of summer people and they say it's super quiet.

Newburyport MA, Portsmouth NH and Portland ME would all be great stops, either for a few hours or the night.

Oh dear...just google it or search this forum. It’s been discussed at length.

You could think about sturbridge in mass if it’s even open but mass has a quarantine advisory too.
