DP. We raise our kids to be tolerant and respectful of any religious practice that does not violate the human rights of others. In the US where we live, it's primarily self proclaimed Christians who violate human rights. So, yes, we don't tolerate that.

4 is not too young to start to learn that kids are different in other places, but that each deserves the same basics: food, shelter, water, love, education.

I like this child, every child and if the world were a village as well, but they’re too mature for 4.

Ignore all the haters. Four might be a bit young but in a year or two they might enjoy this books like this one by Usborne. DK might also have something similar.

There are lots of lovely books of myths and fairy tales out there, and every religion has authors making picture books of their faith stories. Just mix them all up on an even footing. Don’t make a big deal out of it.

At that age, I think I would focus on finding picture books about various holidays. Our local library has a huge section of books organized by holiday. they are hard to get when it is time for the actual holiday, but easy to grab otherwise.
