Where are the random stands in DC? We usually visit family but will be celebrating here this year.

The place I bought from yesterday said fireworks are selling faster than usual this year and he didn't expect to have any left by 7/4. Could've been salesmanship but he was pretty busy with customers so who knows.

Things like those on-the-ground fireworks aren't illegal where I am in VA. We do them every year and we buy them from some random stand.

OP we have typically bought them close the 4th and found sales, but are not sure what we are doing this year because they will definitely be in demand.

Everyone will be doing their own fireworks this year. Which means that fireworks will be in demand. Just like inflatable pools, and sidewalk chalk. I'd buy them now, frankly.

Since we won’t be going anywhere, we will do home fireworks and sparklers.

Wondering if it is better to buy now or on day of,
