No. Too high of a risk that it would be crowded, and I would have wasted money on admission. I would also be in a rush through mode and wouldn't enjoy it.

I don't anticipate doing any voluntary indoor activities for the next several months (possibly longer, I just can't think that far ahead yet). We will do doctor, dentist, and school if is opens because those benefits outweigh the risks for me. But if I have a choice, I don't want to be in doors around other people.

Well, it looks like OP would be the only one there, so maybe not so unsafe after all? My whole family has gotten their hair cuts, and gone to the dentist or doctor. I guess you need to pick the 1 or 2 things that are worth the risk to you. Are the limiting the number of people who enter? If it wasn't crowded, and I really wanted to go to a museum/aquarium (which I don't), then I might go for 30 minutes, and only hang out far away from others, and leave if I felt it was getting too crowded. We will definitely be going to the ourdoor zoo soon.

Add us to the outdoor only crowd that would do the zoo but nothing inside. Kids have masks, but my younger ones can't stop themselves from touching everything.

+1. Nope. The zoo where we live is open and we did that but only went to outdoor exhibits, not inside any of the buildings. No carousel or train ride, no concession stands, didn’t touch railings or sit on benches, went as soon as it opened and left when it started getting a little crowded.

No. Not till infection rates fall further.

I’ve been thinking about some of the art museums that are typically empty...
Definitely would not do anything like Air and Space which is always jammed.

No. And I routinely visit pools and parks. We know that it spreads too easily indoors, especially if you there a long time.

I would be willing to revisit my position if (1) they are severely limiting the number of people because it is usually so crowded and (2) once we are sure if masks are enough to prevent transmission indoors.

We are early risers. 3yo wakes up at 6am daily no matter what. She loves aquariums. National Aquarium is opening up next week.
