Yes, you can bring your absentee ballot to the polling place on election day, turn it in as "spoiled" and then vote in person. You cannot drop off an absentee ballot in person, like in a drop box, in Fairfax County (there are other jurisdictions where you can).

But it looks like they can issue you a replacement ballot Monday as well as Tuesday so maybe call them and ask: https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/elections/lost-damaged-andor-spoiled-ballots

I called the number at the link provided--thank you. That number was (703) 222-0776. The person I spoke with said that there is a dropoff box where absentee ballots can be placed. In case anyone is in the same situation: You drive up to the Government Center office at 1200 Government Center Prkwy. in Fairfax. You see something like a metro bus stop and then a brown box. The box says "Tax Payments" on it and then, maybe on the side, it also says "Absentee Ballots." So absentee ballots just need to be placed in the box by 7 pm on election night (tomorrow), I was told.

I have the absentee ballot. Is there somewhere I can drop off the completed ballot tomorrow or Tuesday? Sorry, I tried to google and didn't find a quick answer, and there are many pages of instructions. I don't have time to look more for the information. Thank you.
