The PG police department has had a reputation for being racist since way before PG had a large Black population. I think it just grew and festered. And, seriously, as a citizen, as a Black citizen of the county -- what can individuals do to change the police department? This is why there are now nationwide and even worldwide protests.

I do know he has a HUGE challenge to overcome when he first got there. PG County police department has been pretty rough for a long time.

Yet another situation that supports my overall view of cops. Always open minded and willing to accept that they may have faults that need to be worked on.
