Was driving behind this person going about 20-25 in a 30. No real reason for them to be driving so slow (no streets or businesses to slow down to find) but it was dark with no street lights so I just figured they were nervous. Whatever. Just followed behind at an appropriate distance and listened to my podcast. After about 5 minutes they pulled over to the side and I thought that it was nice they were letting me go ahead.
I drove for about a minute and then all the hairs on my body stood up and I got this chilling feeling while "hearing" this voice say " turn around. Go back". I drove for about another minute and I felt physically ill. I was almost shaking. Turned around and drove back. Person was still pulled over. While thinking "you're an absolute moron" I approached the car and found the driver slumped over. He had gone into cardiac arrest and likely wasn't feeling well which was why he was driving so slow. I called 911 while pulling him out of the car. At the time, I was an ED nurse. Performed CPR and brought him back by the time the ambulance arrived. I met him later on and he made a full recovery. It took the ambulance 15 min to get there. He likely would not have survived if I didn't get that urgent need to turn around.

My mother was on hospice and at home with my sister and me. Our older sister had passed away about 8 years earlier. My younger sister had a boss that one day said to her "Who is the tall girl with the big mouth that is always near you? I see her all the time with you ". He went on to describe our older sister to a "T", someone he had never met and who had passed away 8 years before. Her name was Karen.
The day before my mother actually died, my sister's boss called her and left a message that she didn't listen to for a few days. By this time, my mother had passed away. The message said that her boss had had a vision of Karen in a doorway, calling to my mother and saying "come on....it's time". Within 12 hours, my mother was gone. Her boss had no idea that my mother was so near death at that point because she had taken a leave of absence.
As if that was not enough, about 2 months before my mother died, she was very sick and near death in the hospital and we thought we were going to lose her. When she finally came back around, she told us that she had seen and talked to Karen and that Karen told her it wasn't time yet....that it was going to be a little longer before they could be together.
I'm sure some could think this was all coincidence, but it still sends chills up my spine and still comforts me in many ways.
