I have an AP - and no social life (law firm partner). How many hours a week? If you work more than 60, no. How much travel involved?

This. I have a lovely social life thanks to local grandparents and an au pair. Are you awash in resources like this? If not it's gonna suck.

Right now? Nothing.

Before the pandemic, most weekends were spent being social. Week nights, not as much, but that is by choice.

I see friends infrequently-once a month maybe. DH is supportive and willing to watch the kids, it’s just tough to coordinate schedules, especially when most of my friends have young kids and FT jobs too.

Occasionally see friends for dinner at someone’s house. Demanding job plus two little kids and the rest of life needs wore me out for more. Now that they are 3 and 5 starting to get out a little more.

I text a few close friends and talk on the phone with my family. Pre-COVID, I socialized with my husband at preschool parties, church, soccer class, etc., met with other families at restaurants..... I haven't done much solo as my youngest is still nursing.

I am exhausted and have no social life except drinking wine in my car with a friend once a week to rant about shouldering most if not all the childcare

Yes as long as your DH is supportive and you enjoy going out!

If you are a mom of 2 or more kids that are preschool aged and work full time, do you have a lot of bandwidth or time to plan social things with friends and other families. I work part time and I’m thinking of taking a full time demanding position.
